What you share with us
Our Tonga waitlist, Baja interest list and contact form ask for your name and email address. A message is optional for a trip interest list and required for a general enquiry. Please don’t send medical information, passport details or payment details through these forms.
If online forms are marked as unavailable, they do not send your entries. You can email us instead.
How we use it
We use contact messages to answer your questions. Joining an expedition list asks us to email you about that expedition as plans develop. It does not sign you up for unrelated marketing, make a booking or reserve a place.
You can ask to leave an interest list at any time by replying to an update or emailing us. We do not sell your information.
Hosting and form delivery
The public site is hosted on Cloudflare. When you submit a form, Cloudflare validates the submission and sends the approved form details to Formspree, which delivers the enquiry to our Gmail inbox. Formspree keeps a temporary submission history so delivery problems can be checked. Google processes the email stored in our inbox. If you use an email link, your own email application and provider also handle your message.
These providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside Australia. Provider locations and safeguards need to be considered as part of our launch review; we do not promise Australian-only storage.
Cloudflare uses an IP address temporarily for spam rate limiting. Our application does not log form contents or maintain a separate website database of enquiries. Formspree, Cloudflare and Google may process technical, security and delivery records under their own policies.
We have not added advertising trackers, analytics scripts or embedded social feeds. Fonts, photos and videos are served with the website. Following an Instagram link takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices.
Keeping and removing information
We keep enquiry correspondence while it is needed to respond and manage the conversation. We keep interest-list details while the relevant trip is being developed and communicated, unless you ask to leave sooner. We review information that is no longer needed for deletion, subject to any legal record-keeping requirements. Deleted emails may remain temporarily in provider backups.
Your questions and requests
Email us to request access to or correction of information you have provided, ask for deletion, leave a list, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to check your identity before acting. If a request cannot be fulfilled, we will explain why.
If you are dissatisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. The OAIC can advise whether a matter falls within its jurisdiction.
